Thigh lift

After weight loss, excessive skin can usually be found around the thighs, which can bother the patient when walking and while performing sports and can distort the aesthetic appearance.

The complaints can be so severe that surgery is medically indicated, however, in most instances the indication is aesthetic.
The procedure is performed in general anesthesia.
The loose skin on the inner side of the thigh is removed and the skin is tightened up toward the groin.
The remaining scars are situated in the groin folds.

The incisions must be extended to the inner side of the thigh in more extensive forms.

The procedure is often performed in combination with an abdominal lift, upper arm lift and/or liposuction.
